Vincent Kartheiser nude scene?
I rounded out the evening with an almost-midnight screening of Elektra Luxx, with a much smaller crowd than the first attempt to show it Sunday night (given that the screening was announced in email blasts on Monday afternoon, the crowd was pretty impressive). The last third confirms my sense that Gutierrez can write a really fun dialogue scene, and that he loves the early films of Pedro Almodóvar, with their celebration of women’s lives and their general sense of wacky anything-goes energy. Also, Sebastian, thank you for Vincent Kartheiser’s nude scene. Can you tell I’m getting punchy? Check back tomorrow morning for the latest from SXSW.
